Our day trips explore the local area, its beautiful scenery and diverse wildlife!

Who is it aimed at?

Our Guided Day Trips are for people with any level of kayaking experience. We run all Guided Trips exclusively for the group that books, be that as a couple, group of friends or a family.
We never mix you with people you do not know.
This means we can tailor the day to your groups requirements, and you get the best from your day out with us

If you are a more advanced paddler you might be better suited to one of our higher level courses or just book a day or two out with us paddling some high performance sea-kayaks to the more remote corners of the sound of Arisaig . . .

 

What the day involves

We start the day at 9:30 at Glenuig Inn and select a suitable venue dependent on the ability of the group and the weather conditions. We are lucky to have lots of beautiful sheltered areas nearby to explore.

When we first get on the water we spend a bit of time helping you to get to grips with how to control the boat and use the equipment. When you feel confident, we then head out for a journey to explore the beaches, islands and secluded bays in our local area.

We have added some new dates for Introduction to Sea-kayaking, Improver, Intermediate and Advanced Courses.

And our newest addition to our Advanced Courses –  paddling Fast, Ruddered, Sea-kayaks; enjoy all the thrill of covering longer distances in some of the most efficient rudder sea-kayaks with minimum effort – what’s not to like!!
